as always you are more than welcome for my comments, it's a pleasure to know to look for creations done by you, i know they are top of the line and will always look great in my houses. thank you for the info on the mirrored flooring, i'm gonna try to do it tonight. lol, thats if i can keep my game running long enough, it seems i fix one problem  and a new one crops up. drives me craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. lol. but thank you again for all the wonderful things you create, all the time, effort that you put into each of your creations and for being so very kind and share your creations with us,, for our sims to enjoy in thier homes, or on themselves. Your always the bestest. hugs..................

Ok, this is how you do it:- In paint.net when you open a picuture file the image appears in the centre of the page and also at the top in a little mini window, when you have more than one file open you will get a row of little windows at the top with the picture files in minature. Example of how to paste one pic on top of another. Open both files that you want to use, you will have one open in the centre as a big pic and at the top you will have two mini pics, click on the painting you wish to paste onto the other one and that will appear in the center as a big pic, you then need to copy the area that you wish to use, you can use the magic wand tool for this, when you have the area you want to use selected you then copy it. Click on the mini picture at the top the one you want to paste into, and it will appear in the centre, then edit, paste, the selection you copied from the first picture should now be on top of the picture in the centre, you can move around the pasted section on the picture in the centre..lol Im not explaining this very well am I? I hope you do understand me.. If you want a transparent paper, open a new image the size you need and then go:- edit, selet all, then press the delete key on your key board and you should have a transparent paper to paste what you want to put there..Ah!!! I thought ok I know what you mean now pasting your pic onto the DDS file !! Open both files, you will see both files open at the top in a row, open the picture you wish to paste and do your stuff on it resize it, ajust it what ever you need to do with it, then, edit, select all, copy, click on the dds file you have open at the top in the row, it will then appear in the centre of the screen, edit, paste, you can then move your picture into postition on the dds file untill it is in the right place, when you are happy it is in the right place on the mesh, go file, save as, and select dds and the name you are calling the pic and save.. There you go ...lol I think !! I sure hope you understood me If you do please say I will try again to explain TC (((((hugs)))) Lorraine

Hiya hun, Im not sure which programme you are refering to, but if its a graphics programe and the trial one you had was adobe photo shop, then have you considered paint.net or gimp they are free? They are both very similar to adobe photo shop, the best being paint.nt And if you use DDS files to make your paintings then used paint.net because it has the plugins already in it for DDS files Im glad you are all well and the weather is treating you kindly I hope you have a fab week Catch you laters (((hugs))) Lorraine

Hi Irmtraut, I'm so glad you got your computer problems sorted out, I'm using a Vista laptop but it plays my sims 2 great and did play sims 3 great too, my hubby is going to take it over soon though as his is ready to fall apart so I'm looking out for a new one, so I will be going to Windows 7 too but it's getting the screen size I need and all the requirements that's the problem, I have a 17inch screen and I really want to stay with 17 or even better go to 18 or more that would be cool, but the price is so high right now, so I'm holding off to see if I can find a good deal it was so lovely to see new screenshots by you yesterday, do hope you'll do lots more  by the way have you heard anything from Lisa, I am worried about her as she has been away for ages   I do hope that she is alright and that all her family are well etc, well dear friend I'm off to sim for awhile now  wishing you a lovely and fun day  do take good care, lots of hugs  Topaz
